Battlefield 2042 is one of three highly anticipated shooters set to release just in time for the holidays later this year. So, it's perfectly understandable why EA and DICE's upcoming AAA title has been filling up your news feed over the past few weeks. However, while most information is just noise, some that sound legitimate do go viral. For example, a recent leaker suggested that EA was going to delay Battlefield 2042 to March 2022.

Thankfully, another, more prominent gaming industry insider was quick to shoot down talks of EA delaying Battlefield 2042.
