Insider claims seeing a working Bloodborne PC port

McDonald elaborated that it will only take changing two lines of code for Bloodborne to support 60 frames per second. At the moment, Bloodborne is the only FromSoftware game still stuck to 30 frames per second.

It's a travesty knowing that Sony can just update Bloodborne with minimal effort to at least make it more playable on the PS4 Pro and the PS5. It's curious why Sony refuses to do this. If we were to guess, it has something to do with the president of FromSoftware, Hidetaka Miyazaki.

Bloodborne is Miyazaki's favorite game. The two long-time partners might have an internal agreement to give Miyazaki free reigns on what he'd like to do with Bloodborne. Considering that FromSoftware, and, by extension, Miyazaki, is busy with Elden Ring, Sony might just be waiting for the right time. Otherwise, it just doesn't make sense for Sony not to pawn off the project to one of its first-party studios like Bluepoint Games.

For what it's worth, Elden Ring should scratch that Bloodborne itch if you have a PS5 or a PC. It's not quite like the PlayStation-exclusive title, but the two aren't far off. It's arguably a better game after already winning one GOTY award.
