The highly-anticipated action role-playing game, Diablo 4, might no longer arrive on its scheduled release date, as per a reliable industry insider.
Horns, a ResetEra user who correctly called Hi-Fi Rush's shadow drop launch earlier this week, is the one behind this rumor. The leaker made a series of claims about multiple high-profile titles scheduled for 2023 releases. On Diablo 4, Horns stated that the game is still in rough shape and, as a result, might not arrive in June.
The ResetEra user also stated that due to Microsoft's losses this year, the company is considering releasing Starfield early. Horns claimed that Redfall, which currently has a release date of May 2, 2023, is also in a rough shape, albeit one that is better than Starfield. He implied the title will arrive as planned. However, he warned that if Microsoft has its way and Bethesda publishes Starfield early, it will have many issues.
Diablo 4's June 6 release has always been doubtful. Last December, it was reported that Blizzard will have to "crunch" to meet the game's set deadline. It's possible things have gotten worse since and Blizzard had to push back the launch date of the game.
