Hugh Jackman has been busy going around and spoiling details about Deadpool 3 over the past week. The Wolverine actor recently revealed the timeline of Deadpool 3 and what his relationship with Ryan Reynolds is going to be like in both of their MCU debuts. Although these are pretty interesting details, arguably Jackman's most important reveal has got to be his status for future MCU films, specifically, Avengers: Secret Wars.

Jackman got a chance to sit down and talk on The Empire Film Podcast where he revealed his plans for future Marvel movies after Deadpool 3, saying: I imagine every movie as a one-and-done. That's how I see it. I'll be honest, I had a two-picture deal at the beginning, but I still assumed it was a one-and-done. You know, back then, there were no comic movies. I just take it one at a time. I'm lucky in that way, I don't have to think beyond that, but I think it's the best way to go. On one hand, Jackman isn't confirming his role in a future MCU movie, let alone Avengers: Secret Wars. On the other hand, he's also leaving himself open to other options.
