It looks like we won't be flying back into Westeros to watch the Blacks and the Greens have a go at each other any time soon.
reports that HBO and HBO Max CEO, Casey Bloys, has "a good guess" for when Season 2 of the platform's reigning king of viewership numbers is coming out and he doesn't expect it to premiere anytime soon.
Specifically, Bloys revealed a release window for House of the Dragon Season 2 that puts it sometime after the 2024 Emmy season, which, at the earliest, means it will arrive in the Summer of 2024.
As disappointing as this update might be, it's in line with the grapevine talk.
Bloys, in particular, quickly shot down any talks of a 2023 release date for House of the Dragon Season 2, and he's right. It's a tight fit considering that the show will film for most of the year.
