A civil war beckons as HBO asks audiences to pick sides.
After a grueling march towards its completion that was temporarily affected by last-minute reshoots, HBO is finally ready to reveal House of the Dragon Season 2, promising on official trailer for Thurdsay, March 21.
Before then, HBO is teasing audiences with a series of new posters for the forthcoming new season of the Game of Thrones prequel. Unlike in Season 1, HBO is making it clear that the Dance of the Dragons has finally started, with Westeros' most powerful dynasty ever split in two: Team Green and Team Black.
The official posters come months after its initial teaser back in December. The images feature mostly solo shots of everyone from King Aegon II Targaryen sitting on the Iron Throne, protected by the Lord Commander of the Kingsguard, Ser Criston Cole to Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen, the rightful heir to the Seven Kingdoms.
Curiously enough, while House of the DragonSeason 2 should feature more dragons in comparison to the first season, including a particularly epic battle on Rook's Rest, HBO decided to shine the spotlight on the key players instead.
