The report from Redanian Intelligence reveals that the follow-up season to HBO's upcoming House of the Dragon is already in development. This would suggest that HBO Max has already approved the second season albeit without an official announcement.
Of course, judging by the success of Game of Thrones, we wouldn't be surprised if this is the case.
