So, it shouldn't come off as a surprise that HBO is looking to strike Lannis gold once again by releasing a series of spin-off TV shows over the next few years.

What is House of the Dragon?
Back in 2019, just as people were waiting for George R.R. Martin to finally finish and release the planned sixth novel in A Song of Ice and Fire, the famous best-selling author went ahead and dropped Fire & Blood Vol. 1. The book itself is over 700 pages long and covers the entire history of the House Targaryen, the incestuous house that eventually produced one of Game of Thrones' main characters, Daenerys Targaryen.
