Horizon Forbidden West, the acclaimed open-world adventure game from PlayStation Studios, is expanding its horizons with a launch on the PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.

Scheduled for March 21, Forbidden West's arrival on PC comes over two years after its initial release on PlayStation 4 as it earned GOTY consideration - the award ultimately went to Elden Ring while God of War: Ragnarok was considered as the de-facto runner-up.

Guerilla Games' sequel will arrive on PC in its Complete Edition form, bringing the base game and the Burning Shores expansion alongside other PC-exclusive features. This edition of Horizon Forbidden West, which arrived on PS5 back in October 2023, promises to offer a richer and more immersive experience, allowing players to delve deeper into a post-apocalyptic yet captivating world and the storyline of Aloy, the game's protagonist.

One of the most exciting aspects of this release is the range of technical enhancements tailored for the PC platform. The game will feature unlocked frame rates and customizable graphics settings, catering to various hardware capabilities or preferences. High-end technologies such as NVIDIA DLSS 3 upscaling and frame generation, AMD FSR, and Intel XeSS will be available, ensuring an optimized gaming experience. For players with advanced setups, NVIDIA DLAA will be an option for image enhancement, further elevating the visual quality of the game.
