HBO's The Last of Us is only two episodes in but fans can't seem to get enough. Now, HBO has confirmed that The Last of Us will be here for at least one more season.

After teases from lead star Bella Ramsey and one of the brains behind the show, Neil Druckman, HBO killed all doubts by making Season 2 official. The Naughty Dog co-president also doubled down on his earlier statement in a subsequent tweet as he revealed that Season 2 will adapt the events of The Last of Us Part II, much like what Season 1 did with The Last of Us Part 1.

In case you're one of the handful of people who haven't watched The Last of Us on HBO or HBO Max yet, the first episode is currently available on YouTube to watch for free, at least in certain territories.

Even though The Last of Us Season 1 is based mostly on the events of The Last of Us Part 1, which is headed to the PC in March, it's made subtle changes to the story to adapt it better for TV viewing audiences.
