No series ever in the history of television dominated social feeds as much as Game of Thrones did for the better part of the 2010s. It's also arguably the only TV show to be rendered nearly irrelevant because of how the showrunners botched the final season. However, it appears that HBO is set to rectify that. Or, at least, get Game of Thrones back on the forefront of mainstream media once again with House of the Dragon.
House of the Dragon is the first spin-off series from Game of Thrones. It is a prequel based on George R.R. Martin's book Fire and Blood, which is set at least two centuries before the events of the books Game of Thrones is based on, A Song of Ice and Fire.
House of the Dragon was first announced two years ago with filming beginning early this year. Now, we finally have the first real footage of House of the Dragon.
