Take-Two CEO, Strauss Zelnick, used the words "terribly unfortunate" to address concerns about Grand Theft Auto 6 following the massive leak a few months back.

Rockstar Games confirmed the GTA 6 leaks a few days after they went viral and the video game community has been abuzz since. Some are even using the info found in the leak to try and approximate the map for the next GTA game. Take-Two seems pretty confident that work on GTA 6 remains unaffected by the entire fiasco.

Here's what Zelnick had to say about the leaks in a recent earnings call: With regards to the leak, it was terribly unfortunate, and we take those sorts of incidents very seriously indeed. There's no evidence that any material assets were taken, which is a good thing, and certainly, the leak won't have any influence on development or anything of the short, but it is terribly disappointing and causes us to be ever more vigilant on matters related to cybersecurity. The leaker, who was identified to be a 17-year-old from the UK, is currently in jail and facing charges after pleading not guilty.
