Gran Turismo 7 drops a big new update for PSVR 2 launch

The update also sees the return of the franchise mainstay, the Grand Valley race track, which includes the challenging full Highway 1 layout. The South layout of Grand Valley also features brutal elevation changes and blind corners to keep things interesting.

Additionally, update 1.29 brings five new cars for players. The Honda RA272 '65 is an open-wheel racer that competed in Formula 1 from 1964 to 1965. It did not win many races but was a technological revolution.

The Italdesign Exeneo Vision Gran Turismo is a concept car by the renowned Italian car design company Italdesign. The company is responsible for the designs of the De Lorean DMC 12 for Back to the Future and the iconic Lotus Esprit driven by Roger Moore in The Spy Who Loved Me. Italdesign Exeneo Vision Gran Turismo comes in the street and off-road versions.

On the other hand, the Citroën DS 21 Pallas '70 is a classic that debuted in the 1955 Salon de l'Automobile. It had a cutting-edge design when it was first introduced that featured an advanced aerodynamic body and revolutionary hydropneumatic suspension system. The iconic car is nicknamed the Flying Saucer by car enthusiasts.

Finally, the Porsche 911 Carrera RS (901) '73 is the first 911 that featured the RennSport badge. The iconic race car competed in FIA's Group 4 category. This Porsche features the iconic ducktail spoiler, stretched rear fenders, and wide tires.

Rounding out the update is the addition of the Drift Stage as well as a feature change letting players move the camera up and down in the Scapes section, enabling players take photos of cars drifting around the track.

All of this is to say that Gran Turismo 7 will look even better than ever on the PSVR2.
