Warner Bros. Montreal is known for doing two things: making DC games and falling short of expectations set by Rocksteady Studios. No offense to Warner Bros.'s gaming subsidiary as it's not exactly their fault that DC fans expect a certain standard. Also, Batman is one of the most iconic comic book characters of all time. Batman: Arkham Origins and Gotham Knights aren't bad either - they just pale when you compare them to the Batman: Arkham trilogy by Rocksteady Studios. And, so, we're hoping that the third time is the charm for WB Games Montreal.
As spotted by James Sigfield, the updated Linkedin profile of the WB Games Montreal senior producer, Bryan Theberge, shows that the studio is working on a new game, which is presumed to be another DC title.
Theberge has been at WB Games Montreal for six years and he served as a senior producer on Gotham Knights. His update adds another "unannounced project" that he's working on as a senior producer.
Coincidentally, the announcement comes just weeks after new DC Studios co-CEO, James Gunn, confirmed that he'd love to incorporate games into the DC Universe. Many believe that WB Games Montreal is one of the first studios to tread this relatively new ground for the DCU since Rocksteady Studios is currently busy working on Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League.
