With four starring appearances in the DCEU, Gal Gadot is the tentpole of Warner's cinematic universe. She's about to add a fifth one with Wonder Woman 3, which might start filming soon.
In an interview with Forbes, Gadot revealed that she's "super, super excited for fans to come and watch Wonder Woman 3 once it's made," after saying that the production team is in the process of working on the script and getting it made.
The news comes just a little over a month after the DCEU delayed its upcoming movie slate and a week following the WarnerMedia and Discovery merger. The latter is believed to have resulted in significant changes, particularly, a renewed interest in more DC Comics movies from the company's new head. Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav reportedly wants to overhaul the DCEU and find a Kevin Feige-like figure to oversee the entire thing. There's no word yet if such an individual has been found, but it is interesting that we're hearing about Wonder Woman 3 this soon.
