Grand Theft Auto III, San Andreas, and Vice City are three of the most beloved games of all time. You could argue that the entire Grand Theft Auto franchise and other works inspired by Rockstar Games' controversial series became what they are today because of the impact that the aforementioned titles made in the gaming industry.
However, it's hard to deny that the three games are starting to show their age.
With that said, fans have been asking Rockstar for years to work on remasters of the classic GTA titles and it appears that the studio is finally listening.
When will Rockstar confirm the GTA Remastered Trilogy?
There have been talks of remastered versions of GTA III, Vice City, and San Andreas for years. However, it wasn't until earlier this year that people began taking these rumors seriously after a report suggested that a trilogy bundle containing all three games was in development with a 2022 release window. The hype got a boost after hawk-eyed observers spotted the GTA Remastered Trilogy on the Korean ratings board.
