As you progress the story, you will meet Brok, the dwarf, on your way to the River Pass Bridge. His steed is not rising because it is afraid of something by the trees. Atreus eases the steed and helps Brok cross the Bridge. Brok then introduces himself as one of the dwarves that made the Leviathan Axe.

Brok offers Kratos a free upgrade on his Leviathan Axe after opening his shop. You can now upgrade and craft Armor using Brok's shop. The event gives you a Frozen Flame and lets you upgrade your Leviathan Axe automatically. Upgrading the Leviathan Axe to Level 2 increases its strength by 25 and allows you to purchase new skills. 2nd location: Path to the Mountain Defeating the Giant Ogre during the Quest named Path to the Mountain.

As you progress the story, you will receive a quest named 'Path to the Mountain.' This quest is a story quest, and you will need to ascend the mountain to finish the Quest. You have to kill multiple enemies, and you will meet Sindri, another dwarf that can help upgrade your Leviathan Axe.
