The Fast and Furious franchise survived the loss of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and his character, Luke Hobbs. But, it's clear that, for the series to get the end that it deserves, it needed someone who could fill in the void left by The Rock.

Enter, Jason Momoa.

Everyone who's seen Fast X will tell you that Momoa is one of the biggest reasons why Fast X is the best film in the series in a while if not ever.

It certainly feels like Universal Pictures has pulled out all the stops and given us a straightforward villain who wants nothing but to put a bullet through Torreto's head for what he did to his family.

Fast X brings back a handful of your favorite characters like Letty (Michelle Rodriguez), Roman (Tyrese Gibson), Han (Sung Kang), Mia (Jordana Brewster), and Ramsey (Nathalie Emmanuel). We even see new faces like Aimes (Alan Ritchson), Tess (Brie Larson), Isabel (Daniela Melchior), and Dom and Mia's Abuelita, who's played by Rita Morena.

In order to fit a star-studded cast that also features villains like Charlize Theron's Cipher and foes-turned-friends such as Jason Statham's Deckard Shaw as well as John Cena's Jakob Torreto, Fast X will have a run time of nearly 142 minutes - the longest in the franchise to date.

Just don't expect Fast X to end on a good note as the series' new director, Louis Leterrier, has confirmed that the ending will leave you hanging.

Fast X premieres on May 19, so expect to see critics publish their thoughts on the film within the next few days.
