Peacock unveils first poster for Twisted Metal TV series

Although inspired by the PlayStation game franchise, the series will draw an original take by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick. The show's script will be written by Michael Jonathan Smith, who will also assume the roles of showrunner and executive producer. Joining Smith in the production team are Will Arnett, Anthony Mackie, and Asad Qizilbash, the head of PlayStation Productions.

In addition, Anthony Mackie is slated to portray John Doe, while Will Arnett will lend his voice to the character of Sweet Tooth. Twisted Metal is the second project from PlayStation Productions to be released this year, following the recently concluded HBO series, The Last of Us.
