When you start playing the Part One of Fire Emblem Three Houses, you'll encounter dozens of lost items littered around the Garreg Mach Monastery. You can spot a lost item by it's shining blue aura, tucked into corners, hidden among boxes, or sitting out in plain sight.
Once you find a lost item, you can return it to its owner. Doing so will strengthen the bond between you and the owner of the item. All the items give you a small clue to guide you to the student it belongs to. You can talk to your fellow mates to know their likes and dislikes, which you can match with the hints on lost items. It's an addictive side activity. Getting the right item increases your bond with your fellow students, while a wrong guess has no negative marking! Before you start reuniting missing items with their owners, you'll have to complete a quest from Jeralt that can be found on the bulletin board. Lost Items quest appears in Chapter 3, and tasks you "to find his (Jeralt's) flask that he's lost somewhere on the Second Floor." Once you finish the quest, you can retrieve lost items for other students as well.
Lost items appear in specific areas each month for specific people. Below, we've listed all the lost items segregated on the basis of the month they appear in as well as where they can be found.

A few lost items were introduced in the Wave 3 of Fire Emblem: Three Houses Expansion Pass, along with the ability to recruit Anna. These items won't spawn around the monastery if you don't have the Expansion Pass.
