What is the BOTW sequel's title and what has been revealed so far? Check out the details below.
The Nintendo Direct livestream on September 13 focused mostly on games that will be launched during the last quarter of 2022, including new entries to the Fire Emblem and OCTOPATH Traveler series. However, the 40-minute presentation also included official details about The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild sequel, including the title, release date, and a teaser trailer.
There had been rumors of a follow-up to the 2017 entry to the Zelda franchise as early as E3 2019. And there were even leaks of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild by February 2021. However, development and production for the game had been delayed for a period after an expected 2022 release.
