Popular review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes serves as a platform that many moviegoers use to help them choose what movie to watch next. But in the case of the recently released Ant-Man And The Wasp: Quantumania, the audience, and critics seem to be split.

The first movie in Marvel's Cinematic Universe for 2023 and Phase 5, managed to create a massive divide in the community, with more than half of the critics rating it as "rotten". They have pointed out a lack of character focus and humor, copying traits of other MCU movies, and an underwhelming script that focuses more on setting up future movies instead of carving out the identity and story of the project.

However, audiences don't appear to care about that 48% critic's score and 5.6 rating at the moment. With more than 3,000 verified ratings, the movie has managed to amass an 84% audience score. This, then, begs the question, how many critical reviews posted before the theatrical release of the project has affected ‌box office turnout? One thing critics and ‌fans agree on is the performance of Jonathan Majors as Kang the Conqueror.
