Unfortunately, outside of the recent massive hiring push, we know little about GTA 6. This is a good way to explain why fans are quick to jump on every GTA 6 leak. But, it appears that some are a little too eager to believe everything that they see. One fan, in particular, took it upon themselves to prove just how thirsty fans are for GTA 6 news by fabricating a fake map and peddling it as legit info for GTA 6.
As one user put it, it's only a matter of time before someone claims that they "found it on 4chan or the forums." The fan claims to have created the "high-quality" leak in their free time. This would imply that someone could create a more believable leak with more time and effort.
