Fallout TV series set photos leaked

Players have come to expect that a Super-Duper Mart will hold valuable resources. However, it also usually means there would be a relatively high number of other interested parties such as Raiders that come to claim the spoils within its confines. As it usually has stores of food, critters like Radroaches and Giant Rats are not uncommon hazards to deal with.

In addition to the Super-Duper Mart itself, the location shows Vault-Tec branded merchandise, as well as a Vault Boy ad. Interestingly, it has Vault Boy wearing a mask in a similar fashion as people during the Coronavirus pandemic in the last couple of years.

Other familiar sights to Fallout fans are the prevalence of non-functional, old and rusting cars. Power up Beyond the locations and familiar trappings of the Fallout universe, perhaps the most eye-catching so far is the reveal of the famous Vault-Tec power armor.

Although the photos showed parts of the power armor, it appears to be mostly for display for now. There does seem to be work being done with hydraulics for the frame. There will likely be a lightweight version that actors can wear by the time principal photography begins.

Fans of Fallout should be happy to see that the Vault-Tec Power Armor looks accurate. Aside from often being one of the most iconic images in the franchise (along with the Vault-Tec jumpsuit and Vault Boy mascot), Fallout players know how valuable the armor can be. Thanks to its ability to enhance the wearer's strength and durability, it can provide higher carrying capacity and better stability for wielding heavy assault weapons.

The main plot for the Fallout TV series has not been revealed thus far. Although now that the Super-Duper Mart has been shown and slightly resembling the one near the town of Megaton, Fallout 3 might be the primary inspiration for the story. However, as adaptations in other media of popular video game franchises have shown in the past, the show will potentially take bits and pieces from all the Fallout games and spinoffs at some point.

In an interview in January with Deadline, Bethesda executive producer and game director Todd Howard had this to say about the Fallout TV series: …over the last decade, we looked at many ways to bring Fallout to the screen, but it was clear from the moment I first spoke with Jonah and Lisa a few years ago, that they and the team at Kilter were the ones to do it right. We're enormous fans of their work and couldn't be more excited to work with them and Amazon Studios. Developed by Kilter Films in association with Bethesda Game Studios, Fallout will be released on Prime Video. The release date for Fallout has yet to be officially announced.
