Here’s everything coming to the Xbox Game Pass in February 2022

February might be the shortest month of 2022, but the list of new Xbox Game Pass games doesn't reflect that.

CrossfireX will finally release two years after it had an open beta.

The Xbox Game Pass is the best streaming service available today. Microsoft’s commitment to snatching up studios and adding games to its library makes the Game Pass well worth the $15 subscribers pay for access to the service every month. As we head into February, Xbox has revealed all the games that are headed to the Game Pass soon.

Compared to last month and the latter half of 2021, there are fewer high-profile games that are coming to the Game Pass this February. Even so, fans can look forward to high-quality titles from different genres.

Here’s a complete list of all the games headed to the Game Pass this February:

  • Contrast (Cloud and Console) — Feb. 3
  • Dreamscaper (Cloud, Console, and PC) — Feb. 3
  • Telling Lies (Cloud, Console, and PC) — Feb. 3
  • Besiege (Cloud, Console, and PC) — Feb. 10
  • CrossfireX (Console) — Feb. 10
  • Edge of Eternity (Cloud, Console, and PC) — Feb. 10
  • Skul: The Hero Slayer (Cloud, Console, and PC) — Feb. 10
  • The Last Kids on Earth and the Staff of Doom (Cloud, Console, and PC) — Feb. 10
  • Ark: Ultimate Survivor Edition (Cloud, Console, and PC) — Feb. 14
  • Infernax (Cloud, Console, and PC) — Feb. 14

The first game that stands out from the list above is CrossfireX. The Xbox-exclusive shooter from Remedy Entertainment and Smilegate Entertainment has been delayed several times. Now that it’s set to come out on February 10, fans are looking forward to what it can offer and how it will stand out from other popular shooters like Call of Duty: Warzone and Halo Infinite, among others.

In addition to CrossFireX, other Game Pass titles that are launching on Day One are Infernax, Edge of Eternity, and Besiege.

Be warned, Ark: Ultimate Survivor Edition will take up a huge chunk of your Xbox storage.

An interesting addition to the Game Pass is Ark: Ultimate Survivor Edition. Ark: Survival Evolved is one of the largest games out there in terms of file size. As is, Ark: Ultimate Survivor Edition will take up more than 130GB of space, which is a lot for older Xbox Ones and the Xbox Series S.

Of course, if the Game Pass constantly adds games, it also has to unload them as well. Here are all the games that are dropping out of the Game Pass on February 15:

  • Control (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • Code Vein (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • Final Fantasy XII The Zodiac Age (Console and PC)
  • The Medium (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • Project Winter (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • The Falconeer (Cloud, Console, and PC)

Having said that, it appears that it will be a while before we start seeing Activision-Blizzard’s games hit the game streaming service. But, we don’t think that Game Pass subscribers are left wanting for more anyway. On top of what’s coming this month, there are also last month’s offerings as well as the ones that came before it that haven’t left the Game Pass library.
