Microsoft continues to make the Xbox Game Pass better heading into 2022. After a strong lineup of games to end 2021, which was headlined by Halo Infinite, the Game Pass is ringing in 2022 with the arrival of Mass Effect Legendary Edition.

What else is coming to Game Pass in January 2022?
Mass Effect Legendary Edition was released to much anticipation and hype last year. The trilogy bundle consists of remastered versions of all three Mass Effect games and their DLCs. Furthermore, EA has implemented improvements for both Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2 to make their gameplay and mechanics feel less antiquated.
All in all, it's the definitive way to experience EA and Bioware's award-winning epic space opera trilogy and find out why everyone else is so heads over heels with Garrus Vakarian and the other companions.
Mind you, Mass Effect Legendary Edition isn't the only game that's coming to Xbox Game Pass this month. Other titles include Spelunky 2, Outer Wilds, and a preview of The Anacrusis, the latest four-person co-op shooter to hit the market. There's also Gorogoa and Olija as well, the former of which is a BAFTA-winning game while the latter has been compared to a less challenging version of Hollow Knight and Dead Cells.
Unfortunately, just as the Xbox Game Pass will welcome a new set of games, it will also have to say goodbye to others.
Games such as Desperados III, Ghost of a Tale, Mount & Blade: Warband, Pandemic, and Yiik: A Postmodern RPG, as well as Kingdom Hearts III, will all leave Game Pass on January 15.
In other Mass Effect news, eagle-eyed observers found out that EA and Bioware intend to use Unreal Engine for Mass Effect 4. Meanwhile, Amazon Studios might have already secured a deal to do a live-action adaptation of Mass Effect. Finally, Bioware dropped a teaser for Mass Effect 4 to celebrate N7 day last November 2021.
Mass Effect Legendary Edition is available to download on Xbox Game Pass right now.
