Final Fantasy XVI still isn't even out yet and it probably won't be out for a while, but it seems that fans are already speculating on which platforms it will release on.
Of course, it's safe to say that it will be available on the PlayStation 5 (no word yet on a PS4 release). However, eagle-eyed fans noticed one very small but important detail in a new trailer from PlayStation Brasil that suggests that it will come to the PC. was confirmed at Sony's September 2020 showcase, otherwise known as State of Play.
Since then, we haven't really heard much about the game. Instead, Square Enix seems heavily focused on the Final Fantasy VII universe for now, as well as their MMORPG, Final Fantasy XIV. However, that doesn't mean that they've forgotten all about it.
For starters, a different team is working on Final Fantasy XVI.
With that said, one thing that stood out immediately about Final Fantasy 16 is that the initial trailer alluded to the game releasing on the PC before Sony decided to reupload the video after apparently fixing it.
