EA pleads with fans to stop spoiling Star Wars Jedi: Survivor

Star Wars Jedi Survivor is scheduled to release on April 28 with the review embargo lifting on April 26.

Be warned, the internet is full of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor spoilers right now.

Electronic Arts is asking Star Wars fans to stop spoiling Star Wars Jedi: Survivor for others following leaks that surfaced on the internet before its release on April 28.

It isn’t clear yet where the leaks started and why it happened but EA is rightfully worried. Accidentally stumbling upon the leaks online could potentially ruin the experience for players who prefer to enjoy the game with minimal knowledge about its story.

Thankfully, EA has already assured fans that it’s taking steps to minimize the impact. But, it’s not as if EA can just Jedi Mind Trick its way to making audiences forget about the leaks. In an attempt to try and contain the spoiler-filled information, EA is pleading with fans to stop sharing the leaked content with other people. EA and Respawn want audiences to know that they put in a ton of work to make sure that players have the best possible experience when Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is out later this week, even going as far as to delay the game for further polishing.

According to multiple sources, the Star Wars Jedi: Survivor leaks contain sensitive information about the game’s story and its characters as well as gameplay mechanics.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is an early candidate for GOTY based on the early previews.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is the sequel to one of the best Star Wars games of all time, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. It’s set in between the events of Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith and Star Wars: Episode IV: A New Hope, following the story of a young Jedi named Cal Kestis who’s on a mission to rebuild the Jedi Order.

If you insist on finding out more about Star Wars Jedi: Survivor before its official release date, you can wait for the review embargo to lift on April 26, Wednesday, which is either today or tomorrow, depending on where you live as of the time of the writing.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is just one of the handful of Star Wars games that are currently in development. Respawn is working on a stylish FPS title set in the Star Wars universe.
