EA shares the release times for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor

You won't have to avoid the internet for too long to avoid spoilers for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor as it's set to come sooner than expected.


Gamers are excited for the return of Cal Kestis.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is releasing soon and fans are preparing to head back into the galaxy far away. Ahead of its release, EA has published a guide for the global release times for the upcoming game.

The sequel to 2019’s Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order has been highly anticipated by fans. It will pick up following the events of the first game and see Cal Kestis and his friends try to evade the Galactic Empire. 

Respawn and EA released an official guide for players to know what time they can expect the upcoming title.

Survivor is releasing at midnight in New York City.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will release at midnight in New York City which will be the anchor of all release times around the world. Releasing a video game at midnight in one location seems to be the norm with AAA titles.

The official release times are as follows:

  • Mexico City, Mexico – 22:00 CST (10:00 PM) 04/27/23
  • New York City, NY USA – 00:00 EDT (12:00 AM) 04/28/23
  • Sao Paulo, Brazil – 01:00 AM BRT 04/28/23
  • London, UK – 05:00 AM BST 04/28/23
  • Lagos, Nigeria – 05:00 AM WAT 04/28/23

Survivor is already available for pre-load on PC and consoles.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is now available for pre-load on consoles, Steam, and the EA app. Preloading started on April 25 at midnight on the East Coast.

EA and Respawn hope to make a trilogy for Star Wars Jedi. Stig Asmussen, creative director at Respawn has revealed that the studio already had plans for the sequel well before the release of Fallen Order. If the trend continues, Respawn may already have ideas for the third game.

“I always wanted to see this as a trilogy,” Asmussen said. “How can we take Cal and the crew to new places beyond what we were doing in the first game?”

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is coming to PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S on April 28.
