Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order was one of the best games of 2019. After DICE had its run making Star Wars games for Electronic Arts, it was Respawn Entertainment's turn in the driver's seat. The result was nothing short of amazing.

As the young Padawan learner, Cal Kestis, players had to navigate a tumultuous point in the Star Wars timeline. It was around this time when Darth Vader and the rest of the Inquisition were busy making sure that Jedis were no more.

The game's story culminated in a showdown with none other than Darth Vader himself, and ended with Cal barely escaping the clutches of Vader as he successfully destroys the Jedi Holocron, which is a databank containing information about everyone who is sensitive to the Force.

With such an open-ended conclusion and a game that sold well, with critics ranking it as one of the best Star Wars games of all time, Respawn left the door open for a sequel.

Now, it appears EA has confirmed that the sequel is coming.
