One of the best things to do in any endgame is fine tuning builds to get the maximum potential out of a character. In Diablo 4, a player has already figured out how to do insane amounts of damage with the Druid class.
Diablo 4 has been out for over a month now and players are starting to figure out the nuances of the game. With a lot of players hitting the level cap, we have been seeing some pretty interesting builds that not only hit hard but also clear the most difficult content in the game with relative ease.
Over the weekend, Diablo 4 content creator Moxsy shared a screenshot of his Druid character hitting over 950 million damage. But it did not take long for the streamer to break the one billion damage barrier with an insane 1.8 billion output.
Moxsy uses a Druid Werewolf build which he calls “LIGHTNING SHRED 2.0” which takes advantage of the teleport skill to apply the “vulnerable” damage modifier to packs of enemies. The Stormclaw aspect is central to the build as it deals additional lightning damage to enemies whenever a player deals a critical strike with the Shred Skill.
What is interesting about the Stormclaw aspect is that the lightning damage can also deal a critical strike. There is an item synergy between Stormclaw and the Waxing Gibbous unique axe which guarantees a critical strike after killing an enemy with the Shred skill.
Stormclaw also scales the lightning damage via what players call “double dip” damage. Basically, the damage dealt by Shred stacks up constantly and gets unleashed in one massive hit. Moxsy explains the build in a comprehensive video.
Another Diablo 4 content creator named Echohack shared a screenshot of a Druid hitting a massive 2.1 billion damage. The content creator clarifies that the screenshot is from his teammate named Boiler.

The Druid is one of the most flexible classes in the game and has the most number of meta builds. Another interesting build for Druid uses stacking poison damage and unleashing it with Shred and the Stormclaw aspect. A player named Creepjacker managed to take down Uber Lilith in just 102 seconds.
Season 1 of Diablo 4 is coming next week and players may already be feeling some form of burn out. Blizzard has said it would be ok for players to take a break from the game.
Diablo 4: Season of the Malignant is coming on July 2023.
