Diablo 4's inventory management can get (more than) a bit stressful, especially on higher levels when hordes of monsters drop a ton of items. In haste, players accidentally drop, sell, or salvage essential gear items as they try to manage the very limited inventory slots - now, a fan suggested a way to solve this issue.

To combat the accidental loss of legendary or unique gear, players are requesting Blizzard devs to implement an "item lock" feature. Reddit user lory_v penned an open letter to the Diablo 4 development team, including feedback on the item management system in the popular ARPG and focus on protecting ultra-rare items like the Harlequin Crest from accidental loss.
