Expensive bundles of collectors memorabilia for video games and movies have become the norm over the past decade, but Blizzard's newly announced Diablo 4 Limited Collector's box is far from the usual. While Blizzard isn't necessarily trying to manipulate fans into buying a game-free bundle for their beloved upcoming title, it's weird to not even have the option to include a physical copy of the game.
The bundle was announced during a recent Twitch stream on the Diablo channel, in which the game directing team at Blizzard responsible for Diablo 4 gave us some insight into the progress.
Players can now pre-order The Diablo 4 Limited Collector's Box for $96.66 at Blizzard's Gear Store. Seeing as the box is not listed on Battle.net but on their merch site puts things into perspective. While this does make it abundantly clear that the game is not included, both in the product description and the separation from the video game store, fans who want to have a physical copy will need to wait a bit longer. Despite this, the gorgeous box coming in a limited supply of 50,000 copies produced, is still very much worth getting.
