Dead Island 2 is finally set to launch this month after several years of development and multiple release date changes. The survival horror action RPG game was originally announced in 2014 with a release date of 2015; however, its development faced many obstacles with several studios hired and removed in the intervening years.

Earlier this year, to the delight of many fans, Deep Silver announced that the title had gone gold and will arrive on April 21, a week earlier than its previous release date of April 28. Now, less than 10 days before the game's launch, the publisher Deep Silver has revealed the PC specifications required to play it. While the specifications are a bit on the high side, they are necessary for the best possible experience of the survival horror title.
