Here’s how you can get Death Stranding for free on the PC

For the second time, the Epic Games Store and Kojima Productions have partnered up to offer one of the best games of its generation.

Death Stranding is easily one of the most underrated games of its generation.

The Epic Games Store usually gives away three games every week. For this week, it’s just one game but it’s huge.

The much-acclaimed Kojima Productions title, Death Stranding, is up for grabs, free of charge, on the Epic Games Store.

Hideo Kojima’s first post-Konami masterpiece, Death Stranding, presents an adventure unlike any other. Different from the tactical espionage operations franchise, Metal Gear, Death Stranding offers a unique blend of action, exploration, and narrative, establishing a solid if niche fanbase of players around the world.

Death Stranding features a star-studded cast of characters that includes Mads Mikkelsen and Daryl Dixon.

With more than 5 million copies sold worldwide, Death Stranding is at least worth giving a chance if you’re a fan of Hideo Kojima.

Epic Games’ continued investment in giving back to the gaming community proves to be a success. The company has established itself as a legitimate contender to the likes of Steam by regularly providing free games with its gaming hub. For gamers, the freebies aren’t just about saving money; they’re a great way to try out different genres, explore new narratives, and develop a diverse taste for gaming.

Playing Death Stranding, which is a game that you either love or don’t care about, certainly adds a feather to any gamer’s cap.

Mind you, there’s no catch here. All you need to do is to visit the Epic Games Store, click on Death Stranding, and add it to your library. From there, Death Stranding is yours to keep forever. But, be quick, as this is a limited-time offer.

Death Stranding is only available to redeem until May 25.

Coincidentally, Death Stranding being given away for free on the Epic Games Store comes at the same time when Kojima’s name is being thrown around.

Death Stranding 2 was announced right around the same time that Death Stranding was given away for free by the Epic Games Store.

Kojima recently trolled hopeful fans about his canceled Konami game, P.T. and Silent Hills. Also, we’ve heard reports that the upcoming PlayStation Showcase on May 24 will include the reveal of a remake of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, which is canonically the first game in the Metal Gear series.

It’s unclear if Hideo Kojima and/or Death Stranding 2 will be at the May 24 PlayStation Showcase.

Kojima Productions is working on Death Stranding 2, a live-action Death Stranding movie, and at least a handful of other projects, including one for the green team, Xbox.
