Many fans have been asking if Daniel Radcliffe will be taking partin the new HBO remake of Harry Potter and he finally put all the rumors to rest.

The Harry Potter film series ended in 2012 with the release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows Part 2. Warner Bros expanded on the film universe with the Fantastic Beast series. However, fans have been clamoring to explore more of the Wizarding world.

Warner Bros responded to the demand from fans by announcing a new Harry Potter TV series on Max. The upcoming TV show will retell the story of Harry and his friends based on the novels by J.K. Rowling.

While Radcliffe is excited that a new series is coming, the actor revealed he isn't part of it. Speaking to ComicBook for the Miracles Workers: End Times TV series on TBS, the actor shared that he will not be making a cameo in the new series.

"My understanding is that they're trying to very much start fresh and I'm sure whoever is making them will want to make their own mark on it and probably not want to have to figure out how to get old Harry to cameo in this somewhere," Radcliffe said. "So I'm definitely not seeking it out in any way. But I do wish them, obviously, all the luck in the world and I'm very excited to have that torch passed. But I don't think it needs me to physically pass it."
