CD Projekt Red has been holding off on announcing the release date for the only planned expansion for Cyberpunk 2077. However, it looks like we will be getting the DLC next month if the newly leaked information is correct.

The studio released the most recent trailer for Phantom Liberty expansion last December. The teaser video showcased Idris Elba as the protagonist of the upcoming Cyberpunk 2077 DLC. The trailer, however, did not reveal when the expansion would be released.

The Polish podcast 'Rock and Boris' has shared information about when the upcoming DLC will arrive, saying the expansion will be released next month.

During the podcast, the hosts claimed Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty would launch on June 8th. The podcast has been the source of CD Project Red game leaks on multiple occasions.

To support its claim, the host shared that Boris was invited by several individuals from CD Project Red to attend this year's Summer Games Fest. The studio will apparently showcase the expansion and provide guests with an opportunity to play Phantom Liberty at the event. According to Boris' sources within the studio, an internal release date for the expansion has been slated for June.
