It appears that audiences will get more of the live-action adaptation of the award-winning Naughty Dog franchise.
Craig Mazin was in Las Vegas on Sunday where he talked about the future of The Last of Us, saying: Our plan is to do it not just for one more season.
We should be around for a while. Naughty Dog co-founder and The Last of Us showrunner, Neil Druckmann, previously confirmed, alongside Mazin, that The Last of Us' next season isn't going to be the last, and for a good reason.
The Last of Us Part II is a far longer, larger, and more nuanced game compared to the first title in the series. It was also just as controversial as it was critically acclaimed. So, while it's true that Druckmann and Mazin have plenty of material to draw from, they'll also need to exercise caution. Audiences have already raised concerns about a particular episode in The Last of Us' first season and the second season will dive into such topics headfirst.
