Cory Barlog is helping owners get missing God of War: Ragnarok copy

Apparently, a shipping error is affecting mostly Collector's Edition owners. After paying $199.99 for a handful of real-life game-related items and in-game cosmetics, they ended up getting everything but the digital code for God of War: Ragnarok. The problem is prevalent enough to the point that a Reddit user has since created a Twitter account, @HelpUsSMS, to compile all the related errors. To make matters worse, the growing list of complainants has found their cries falling on deaf ears as Sony hasn't done anything to resolve the said issues nearly a week after God of War: Ragnarok came out on November 9.

Users report Sony and the concerned retailers are giving aggrieved parties the runaround. After Sony responded to one of the reports by telling concerned individuals to contact the retailers, the sellers then referred them back to Sony.

As you can see, you're better off arguing with Thor than asking Sony for a refund. At least, the God of Thunder will just pummel you with Mjolnir until you're down.

Thankfully, Cory Barlog has stepped in to try and solve the situation. One buyer claims they got a code from Barlog in a Direct Message on Twitter.

Kudos to Barlog for helping out however he can. Unfortunately, this is a big problem that Barlog alone can't solve. Sony needs to hold itself accountable and compensate the players who supported God of War: Ragnarok the most.
