Just a mere two days after the Night of Champions, Cody Rhodes, his arm in a sling, walked into the squared circle with a determination that roared louder than the Albany crowd. On the May 29 Monday Night RAW episode, Rhodes declared his intentions - not just to the Beast, Brock Lesnar, but to everyone: he doesn't tap out.

Rhodes, weathering the aftermath of a vicious encounter with Lesnar in Jeddah, reminded everyone inside the arena and at home of his unwavering perseverance, saying: "I didn't tap out because that's not the man I want to be."

To no one's surprise, Rhodes, once again, challenged Lesnar to another match while mocking Lesnar for already planning out their vacation from the WWE.

Rhodes then bravely said that Lesnar is afraid of him, which marked the end of his promo.

The open challenge echoes the spirit of the gritty persona Rhodes has embodied since his return.

The next step in Rhodes' journey is likely getting a win over Lesnar but we don't know exactly when that's going to happen. The next PLE will be on July 1 at the Money in the Bank followed by the SummerSlam on August 5.
