If you told us a decade ago that Capcom would be at the helm of some of the most successful reboots and remakes in the gaming industry, we'd call you delusional, but here we are. After the successful remake of Resident Evil 4, which came out later this year, and basically a slew of best-selling titles in recent years, Capcom is riding a wave of success. Now, it appears that it's looking to try and see if it can revive one of its older and more beloved zombie-focused franchises.
Much like Resident Evil, Dead Rising is a survival horror game. But, it focuses more on arcade-style gameplay, allowing it to carve its own niche separate from its more renowned sibling.

Industry insider Jez Corden suggests that Capcom is revisiting the Dead Rising franchise, potentially as a reboot.
Unfortunately, the latest entry, Dead Rising 4, was released to mixed reviews and negative feedback from the community. Since then, we haven't heard much about the series - until now.
