The ongoing FTC hearings have been quite eventful, especially with the recent revelations from Activision's CEO, Bobby Kotick. On the fourth day, Kotick had some exciting news to share, including the release window for Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile.
The highly anticipated mobile port of the popular free-to-play battle royale game, Call of Duty: Warzone, is gearing up for its release this fall.
However, unlike its predecessor, Call of Duty: Mobile, which was developed by Tencent, Warzone Mobile is being developed in-house by the talented teams at Activision's Shanghai, alongside Beenox, Digital Legends, Solid State Studios, and Demonware.
Unfortunately, Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile is specifically designed for Android and iOS devices, so it won't allow cross-play with its console counterparts in Warzone. Nonetheless, Activision assured fans that Warzone Mobile is here to stay, though it has denied the allegations of phasing out Call of Duty Mobile.
