Activision's latest Call of Duty title, Call of Duty: Vanguard, is not off to a good start. It appears that Sledgehammer Games' return could not have come at a worse time. With Vanguard having to contend with the giant that is Halo Infinite, along with the inevitable franchise fatigue that fans are experiencing, player numbers are down across the board. In an attempt to try and get gamers to try out Vanguard, Activision has decided to make it free-to-play - for a limited time.

Unfortunately, the upcoming Call of Duty: Vanguard free access weekend isn't permanent. Activision is only making Vanguard available to play for free starting on November 18 through until November 22. Players also can't preload the game to make the most out of the demo. So, if you're interested, you'll just have to wait until the clock strikes 1:00 PM Eastern on November 18 to start downloading the game.
