Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is banning players for no reason

Unfortunately, Activision Blizzard has not released a statement to address the concerns. A lot of players have attempted to reach out to the developers to reverse the ban, only to get an "automated" message that says that the decision is final. Many are fearing that these calls for help will go unheard of forever.

On one hand, the RICOCHET anti-cheat system might not be exclusively to blame for this. It's hard not to believe that some players are cheating and hoping to get the ban reversed by appealing to the public. However, this is not an isolated incident and Activision Blizzard doesn't seem interested in listening to appeals. When you add the bans to the long list of issues that Modern Warfare 2 is facing, such as the game's client crashing after an hour, it becomes clear that Modern Warfare 2 could use some additional work.

Ultimately, the only ones who can answer these concerns are Activision Blizzard and Infinity Ward.

Fingers crossed, Modern Warfare 2 will be in a much healthier, balanced, and playable state once Season 1 and Warzone 2.0 launch on November 16.
