A couple of days ago, we published an article that dataminers had found a collaboration event between Destiny 2 and Fortnite. Dataminers @MidaRado and @GinsorKR both leaked the info regarding the partnership between Bungie and Epic Games.

Yesterday, the official announcement from the two gaming companies confirmed that the crossover event is indeed taking place. It turns out that fans of both games will get more than just a couple of skins.

As we predicted, Bungie revealed the crossover event during the Destiny 2 showcase event where they also unveiled the next DLC, Lightfall. The annual event also highlighted the new Season of Plunder content which features weekly missions, activities, weapons, and loot.

Bungie and Epic Games will have a crossover event starting August on 23 involving Destiny 2, Fortnite, and Fall Guys. Destiny 2 As a part of the event, Destiny 2 players can unlock the three new armor ornament sets for each of the three main classes. The three new armor ornament sets are the Knightly Noire Titan, Painted Kitsune Warlock, and Eternal Vengeance Hunter.
