The wait is finally over! First revealed back in 2017, THQ Nordic's long-awaited Biomutant is almost out. You're finally free to roam the post-post-apocalyptic Earth where humans are extinct and Bioutants roam the world to decide the fate of the Tree-of-Life. Will you protect it or succumb to your menacing side and bring darkness across these lands?
But before you dive into any of the good stuff, there's an extensive character creation process that greets you when you first boot up the game. Honestly, Biomutant's unique take on the character creation process is the ray of hope we were looking for after Cyberpunk 2077's character creator failed to live up to expectations.
There are three main ingredients of Biomutant's character creation: Breed, Class and Genetics. Here, we'll break it all down for you so you can make the best character for your playstyle. The Breed The first thing you'll need to choose while creating your Biomutant is the breed. There are six different breeds that determine the body type and stats of your character. Primal Biomutant Primal Breed
Primal can be defined as a balanced and "vanilla" breed of the game. Primal Biomutants are "nimble and dexterous” but sacrifice Intellect and vitality which affects stats such as Power, Ki Energy, Energy Regen and health. The drawbacks are balanced by a high critical chance rate. It's perfect for players who want to rely on ranged weapons, magic and swift melee weapons. Dumdon Biomutant Dumdon Breed
