"Stay awhile, and listen!" as Deckard Cain would say, as we delve into the dungeon-diving exploits of none other than, Mike Ybarra.

The President of Blizzard Entertainment recently put his money where his mouth is and showed gamers how it's done.

Proving that he's as much a Diablo 4 aficionado as he is the president of the long-time developers of the franchise, Ybarra accomplished the impressive feat of reaching level 100 on his Barbarian shortly after the game's best-selling release.

Harnessing the power of the Whirlwind build – a build known for its superior attack and crowd control capabilities – Ybarra journeyed through the demonic hordes of Diablo IV. His character, a Barbarian, scaled the peaks of power using this setup, demonstrating its effectiveness. A whirlwind of a leveling spree unfolded, chronicled for fans and players alike to witness on Ybarra's Twitch channel. His battlefield was predominantly the PC, though, in a thrilling last-minute twist, Ybarra shifted the fight to PS5 before reaching level 100, earning a trophy to commemorate his achievement.

With the leveling journey behind him, Ybarra is not hanging up his axe just yet. His future plans include grinding for better gear, participating in PvP to get mounts and rewards, completing dungeons, and climbing up to level 80 in the hauntingly tough Nightmare Dungeons before the start of Season 1. Ancestral power also beckons him; he intends to acquire the unique Ancestor two-handed sword, known as the "Grandfather." His plans to try a HoTA (Hammer of the Ancients) build signal an intriguing shift in strategy, piquing interest in how he will navigate the challenging world of Diablo IV post-level 100.
