With only weeks to go before the open beta for Diablo 4 starts, Blizzard Entertainment has provided an update.
Just to recap, the early access beta for Diablo 4 kicks off on March 17, Friday at 9:00 AM PT and it will end on March 20, Monday at 12:00 PM PT. It is exclusive to those who pre-ordered the game. Early-access beta players will have access to the Barbarian, Rogue, and Sorcerer classes.
A week later on March 24, Friday at 9:00 AM PT, Blizzard will kick off with the game’s second open beta. Participants of the first open beta can pick up where they left off. Two more classes, the Necromancer and the Druid, will be available to play. The second Diablo 4 open beta will end on March 27, Monday at 12:00 PM.
Blizzard is also giving away the following rewards to the Diablo 4 open beta participants:
- Reach Kyvoashad with a character to earn the “Initial Casualty title”
- Reach level 20 on one character to earn the “Early Voyager title”
- Reach level 20 on one character to earn the “Beta wolf pack cosmetic item”
Finally, Blizzard is adding a twist to the two open beta weekends by introducing the demonic Ashava World Boss. Ashava will spawn four times over the day to give everyone a chance to fight against this mighty hellspawn.
Up to twelve players can participate in this new Diablo feature.
All signs point to Diablo 4 coming out on June 5, crunching be damned. However, until Diablo 4 is out by then, fans are still worried that the earlier reports about a potential delay are true.
