It looks like the "vanilla" version of World of Warcraft isn't going to be stuck with the Wrath of the Lich King expansion for long.

Blizzard released World of Warcraft Classic in 2019 with the promise of bringing back the so-called Halycon days of the MMO. Three years later, the game has since been updated twice if you include the Wrath of the Lich King expansion that's coming later this year. But, if we believe the latest rumors, it won't be long before the Cataclysm update is added to the game.

reports that Blizzard has sent out surveys to World of Warcraft Classic players to pick their brains about which platforms they play on and their gaming habits. The survey also outlines all of the potential features that could be added to World of Warcraft Classic if Cataclysm is implemented as well as what kind of changes they'd like to see to Cataclysm, why they wouldn't want to see Cataclysm Classic, and if they'd prefer other expansions.
