Blizzard confirms PC specs for Diablo 4

Surprisingly enough, you'll be able to play Diablo 4 smoothly on a modestly priced desktop that was built recently.

It looks like you might not have to sell your soul for your PC to run Diablo 4 well at launch.

Diablo 4 is launching in less than two months. Ahead of its release, Blizzard has published a comprehensive list of PC specs for gamers to help them prepare their desktops for the launch of the latest installment in the famed dungeon crawler franchise.

The published PC system requirements for Diablo 4 range from the minimum specs to run the game on the lowest settings to “Ultra 4k” which maxes out the graphics of the ARPG. As expected, any PC or Gaming Laptop from the last three to five years can run the title at lower settings. However, running the game on Ultra 4k will require a pretty beefy graphics card and loads of RAM.

Diablo 4 will attempt to run on PCs that fall below the minimum settings. However, Blizzard emphasizes that the gaming experience may be significantly diminished.

Blizzard also announced an upcoming open beta weekend for Diablo 4 ahead of the game’s release. Diablo 4’s Server Slam weekend, which takes place on May 12 through 14, is the final chance for players to try out the game before buying it. It will also be the final chance for gamers to earn the beta rewards that will carry over to the final release.

Blizzard has received critical feedback from the open beta which led to major changes in Diablo 4. The game will have less backtracking and repetition in dungeons. There will be balance changes for the Barbarian and Necromancer classes at launch.

Diablo 4 will be releasing seasonal content every quarter and each season will feature a battle pass. Each battle pass will take an estimated 80 hours to complete.

Diablo 4 is coming to PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S on June 6.
